Here is what some educators say about Mainella Motivational Seminars

I wanted to take a brief moment to say "thanks" for an informative and very exciting presentation. Your style is one that not only intrigues the students but befriends them and appeals to their mindset. You have a great talent in being able to relate to our student body while providing a positive message about self-respect and individuality. This was my first chance to watch you in action and I hope that you will return to our school again in the future.

Mike Cookson
Shea High School
Pawtucket RI

Let me acknowledge your devotion to the Boston Latin School. For many years, you have brought your wisdom and your humor and your serious message to the students in our science classes. For those twenty-six years we have enjoyed a special relationship which this past school year was amplified by your participation in our end-of-year student program.

Your June presentation was well crafted and well received by all of our students. Your message on respect for self, for others and for the community as a whole was extraordinarily impressive. I know that you were thrilled with the level of attention and participation on the part of the students at the Latin School. The members of our professional staff and parent community who worked on this project were also delighted with how well your words were received.

As a result, I was delighted to invite you to our Professional Day at the opening of school this September. You were adept at sharing your background with the staff and engaging teachers in an open dialogue about attitudes from a non-threatening perspective. Encouraging adults who work with young people to be reflective thinkers can only enhance what we consider a culture of achievement here at the Latin School. My congratulations on a job well done.

We have used Mark at our Staff Development Day at Rhode Island College for two years and the majority of those in attendance rate his seminar, "Become the Teacher's Teacher," as excellent.

Robert Guillette, Director
Northern RI Collaborative

Never in my thirty years at this school have we had a speaker who mesmerized five hundred students for two periods. Your talk was inspirational and to the point. Your language and manner of speech was understood, listened to, and accepted by the students and teachers. The only other time students thanked me for an assembly was when an Army rock band performed. After your talk approximately two dozen students said "thanks" and "please get him again." The response from teachers was equally impressive.

Patrick J. Delaney, Assistant Principal
Graphic Communication Arts High School

For the first ten minutes you can't believe he's for real; for the remainder of his presentation, you can't believe he's anything but real.

Mr. Mainella is the only one we allow to address the entire student population as a captive audience. That is because for 24 consecutive years, he has made the students think about their future and feel good about themselves. He helps us to do our job.

I was pleased that all our staff finally had the chance to listen to your message. Your guide for making the most of your teaching and getting the most from your students was right on the mark. I had the good fortune to observe the faces and the eyes of your audience. It was obvious that you hit home with so many-many were moved to tears as you reaffirmed our most important beliefs of what good teaching is all about. Again, thank you, Mark for your continued commitment to helping us to realize our dreams!
